With this reliability, toughness and commitment in mind, Harrison F-Trucks has partnered with a Kiwi Ex-Pat, Kerry Alderton to create the Harrison F-Trucks Endurance Team.
From an early age Kerry has honed her equine skills to become a New Zealand national eventing squad member and noted thoughbred trainer with success in both N.Z and Australia. Kerry’s expertise was highly regarded while competing and training in Canada and Australia. Considerable time in Japan allowed Kerry to impart her knowledge while instructing riders in the skills of conditioning, fitness and jumps training at the famous Shadai Farm.
After only just five years in the “Endurance” sport, Kerry as displayed a promise to consistency in equine health and training. Kerry often says that “reliability, toughness and total commitment to all aspects of your horses’ health are paramount to the success in the demanding sport of endurance. Most successful competitors in any equine discipline have an inbuilt sense or a knowing of how their horse is situated.
Surrounding yourself with talented, highly capable people is also important and Kerry has hand selected a team of riders and support personnel that have attention to detail and the drive for success. Riding in the Harrison F-Trucks Endurance Team is Jasmine Venezia and Sheryl Symes.
Jasmine Venezia, a local eventer and pony club rider is developing into an all-round horsewoman. Also a talented artist Jasmine devotes her time to the horses while juggling the time needed to attend university.
Sheryl Symes is a dynamic professional educator, employed by a prestigious grammar school in Bacchus Marsh. A classically trained rider from Britain, Sheryl as an eye for detail and looks forward to success in such a demanding discipline.
To ensure the smooth function of the team’s base is Jordan Pearce. A 4WD enthusiast and keen motor cyclists, although not a horse rider, Jordan is integral to the operations of the team.
As all equestrians know, horses can’t function without suitable hoof care and the team has engaged the expert services of Flemington based farrier, Mark Cumming and his dog Archie. Mark is one of the most respected farriers in the racing industry and is in demand at many of Victoria’s leading stables. Mark is not just a tradesman he is a master craftsman that ensures the excellent health of our horse’s feet.
Harrison F-Trucks Endurance Team will be seen at rides in New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania and Victoria.
Ideally based in central at Nulla Vale, Victoria. Harrison F-Trucks Endurance Team is perfectly positioned to easily travel to the best endurance rides just as many familiar race horse stables locate their bases for easy travel to Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide
